CONCRETE (HOUSES)

This series explores a specific aspect of concrete as a defining material of the modern age. I am particularly fascinated by unique single-family houses that embody the aspirations and aesthetic codes of our time, viewed through the lens of a material rich with social, cultural, and economic significance.
Concrete intrigues me as an object of desire, a symbol of its era, and an indispensable element of contemporary architecture. I seek to create a striking contrast of materials by juxtaposing expansive monochrome facades with empty glass surfaces and lush greenery. Drawing inspiration from architectural magazines, I examine the relativity of historical narratives and ideological assumptions—forces that inevitably shape the cultural landscape of the modern individual.
